Compensable Injury Services We Provide

Compensable Injury Services

Lift provides physiotherapy that focuses on active recovery and practical outcomes. Treatment is guided by current evidence and shaped around each person’s goals. We work alongside clients, their families and support networks to promote confidence and independence throughout recovery. Our approach uses movement, exercise and education to restore function, reduce risk of re-injury and support long term wellbeing.

Independent Clinical Assessments

An independent clinical assessment at Lift is a one-off, objective review conducted by an experienced physiotherapist who is not involved in your regular treatment. The purpose is to provide an impartial and evidence-based opinion about your injury, function and rehabilitation needs.

These assessments are often requested by insurers, employers or other third parties to help guide decisions about claims, return to work, or ongoing support.
Each assessment involves a detailed discussion, physical examination and review of medical or therapy records. The physiotherapist may also consult with your treating professionals or support network to ensure all relevant information is considered.

Following this, a comprehensive written report is prepared outlining the diagnosis, contributing factors, treatment recommendations, and future outlook. The process is independent, fair and transparent. Assessments can be arranged promptly, and the report is prepared as soon as possible to assist with time-sensitive decisions.

Worksite Assessments

Lift provides worksite assessments that focus on understanding the physical, environmental and task demands of a person’s workplace. These assessments are completed by a physiotherapist and are used to support safe return to work, prevent injury and improve workplace design. Each assessment involves a review of the employee’s role, observation of work tasks and discussion with the worker, employer and any relevant support networks.

Our physiotherapists identify risk factors, assess job suitability and provide practical recommendations for equipment, task modification or graduated return-to-work plans. The outcome is a detailed, evidence-based report outlining findings, recommendations and any strategies required to support safe and sustainable work practices. Assessments can be arranged promptly and are completed with independence and professionalism.

Pre-Employment Screening

Lift provides pre-employment screening to help ensure that candidates are physically and functionally suited to the demands of a specific role. Conducted by qualified physiotherapists, these assessments evaluate strength, flexibility, posture, movement patterns and overall fitness for work. Each screening is evidence based and tailored to the essential tasks of the position, helping to identify potential risks before employment begins.

Our approach is practical and objective, aiming to match people safely to roles while supporting long-term wellbeing and injury prevention. A detailed report is provided to the employer outlining the individual’s capacity, any areas of concern and recommendations for safe work placement or adjustment if required. Assessments are completed efficiently and with full professional independence.
