About Us

Welcome to Lift Health Group

Our journey began with a passion for rural health and a commitment to bridging the gap in allied health services for remote communities across Australia.
Meet Lift Health Group’s experienced and innovative crew. Every single member of Lift Health Group works to make a difference in healthcare access in rural and remote Australia.

Our Story

Founded in February 2023 by directors Matt Belperio and Annie Hall, Lift Health Group’s story is deeply rooted in personal experiences and a shared vision to make a difference. Annie spent much of her upbringing in Corny Point, a small community on the Yorke Peninsula with a population of approximately 136 people. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by rural Australians. Her father would take her to Corny Point in his Cessna 182, a small 4-seat aircraft. This is where she experienced the transformative power of air travel, turning a lengthy 3.5-4 hour drive into a quick 30-minute flight.

Similarly, Matt spent much of his childhood visiting Quorn in the Flinders Ranges, exposing him to the stark realities of healthcare disparities in remote regions. Inspired by his uncle, the town’s sole doctor, Matt combined his passion for physiotherapy with a newfound love for aviation, obtaining his pilot’s license to expand access to essential services.

In February 2023, Matt and Annie began flying to rural and remote communities to assess their healthcare needs. They launched their inaugural clinic at the Maitland Health Centre, operating Monday to Wednesday. This achievement was made possible by the community’s dedication to ensuring timely transportation to and from the airport and spreading the word about their services. As Matt and Annie expanded their visiting locations, Lift Health Group grew from a team of two to a current team of over 40 clinicians and counting. Today, we stand as a national leader in allied health, with a presence in every state of Australia. At Lift Health Group, we are driven by a belief that everyone, regardless of location, deserves access to high-quality healthcare.

Our Vision

Our vision is to serve communities across Australia with high-quality, innovative care. We believe that everyone, regardless of location, deserves access to the best healthcare possible.
